Abstract

Eosinophilic meningitis is inflammation of the meninges in which there are more than 10 eosinophils/mm3 and/or the number of eosinophils accounting for more than 10% of the white blood cells in the CSF. Eosinophilic meningitis can be caused by causes such as parasitic infection, malignancy, drugs ... The disease usually lasts long and possibly leading to death or severe neurological sequelae. However, diagnose of specific causes of the disease is often difficult. We report two cases of patients diagnosed with parasitic eosinophilic meningitis which were treated in the Infectious Diseases Department, Military Hospital 175 with albendazole and had good outcomes.
