Abstract

Objective: Assess the status of scientific research in hospitals of 7th Military Region.

Subject and method: in a descriptive study, conducted from 3/2017 to 3/2018, 547 doctor and nuses working in hospitals of 7th Military Region. Data was collected using a prepare questionare.

Results: The main age group of the study is mainly from 30 to 49 years old, accounting for 61.06%, more women than men. Only 25.23% of health worker have ever participated in scientific research and 70.75% of health worker have knowledge about scientific research. 58.5% of health workers are not interested in scientific research while 78.79% think that scientific research is important. 13.89% think that scientific research is a burden for health workers. The difficulties in doing research are mainly the lack of time and lack of research experience.
