Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the results of surgical treatment with locking screw braces in broken joints and under the femur transfer.

Subjects and methods: Forty-one cases include 35 cases of intermittent fracture and 6 fractures under intermodal transfer, which are operated by locking screw braces at the Orthopedic Surgery Department of the Military Medical Hospital 175 from January 2015 to December 2016.

Method: describe the series of vertical follow-up cases with sample medical records. Evaluate surgical results according to the level of bone healing and rehabilitation at the time after surgery and after 6 months. Results: very good at 53.66%, good at 19.51%, average at 12.20% without poor results. The healing bone angle of the ankle from 120-135 degree is 87.80%, the hip joint fold over or equal 90 is 60.98%. Complications of limiting joint movement is 39.02%.

Conclusion: Surgical treatment of intervertebral fractures and under the interlocking plate of the lock screw is an effective, safe method, achieving good clinical results and high rate of bone healing.
