Abstract

Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) is an advanced treatment method for early-stage gastrointestinal cancers. Since the implementation of ESD at the Gastroenterology Department of 175 Military Hospital, several cases have been successfully treated. In this study, we present three cases of patients with lesions located in the rectum, esophagus, and stomach. The first patient, a 41-year-old male, had a submucosal tumor in the esophagus; the second patient, a 60-year-old female, had a submucosal tumor in the gastric antrum and the third patient a 55-year-old male, had a rectal polyp. All patients were treated with ESD for complete removal of the lesions, avoiding more extensive surgery and associated complications. The treatment outcomes showed rapid recovery, with patients discharged within 2-5 days and without significant complications.
