Abstract

Objective: Assess the results of dual mobility hip arthroplasty in the treatment of hip osteoarthritis patients.

Subject and method: Describe clinical case series, vertical tracking 46 osteoarthritis hip joints in 37 patients who suffer from dual mobility hip arthroplasty in Orthopeadic center of Military Hospital 175 from July 2019 to November 2020.

Results and Conclusion: tracking time 19 ± 5,3 months showing the result that Harris Hip Score increased from 66,7 ± 9,15 to 92,11 ± 6,18, good and excellent results accounted for 100%. There are no case of dislocaiton.

Conclusion: We believe that dual mobility hip arthroplasty can indicate for primary surgery, specifically in young patients or patients with high risks of prosthetic instability.
